Tap the water to feed Bubbles and Pip

First hatched in 2018 and loved by more than 200,000 players, Pet Amoeba is back: rebuilt from the ground up, with a brand-new look and lots more to do.

Raise them

Tiny pets, big personalities

Pick two babies from the pond and bring them home. Each one gets an official birth certificate from the International Amoeba Federation, with its name, its birthday and its weight: about ten micrograms.

Then check in every day. Feed them, clean up after them and play with them, so they never get bored or lonely. You can tell a lot from an amoeba’s eyes!

Mini-games

Win coins in Stupid Fish, Telezorker, Insect Squasher, Alien Organizer and Flip the Bobble, and climb the leaderboards. Or take on your amoebas at Card Match and Table Tennis.

Surprise visitors

Hans the gift-giving alien drops by every couple of days. Hummingbirds, dragonflies, Gamalat the butterfly and Habiba the mega snail come to visit too.

Coins to collect

Happy amoebas earn coins every few minutes. Tap to collect them, then treat your pets at the Amoeba Store.

Dress them up

108 looks to try on

Moustaches, eyebrows, glasses, polka dots, superhero onesies and the flags of 37 countries. Your amoebas wear them everywhere: in the bath, on the golf course, even on the dance floor.

Go on, give Bubbles a moustache.

Grow a family

Eggs, babies and a very proud parent

Give your amoebas a cozy nest and one of them will lay an egg. Keep it clean with soap and the spray bottle until it hatches, then raise the new baby in a playground of its own.

Under the microscope

Even amoebas have pets

Your amoebas can raise a colony of microbes under their very own microscope. Peek in with them to help hatch the eggs, drop food on the slide and watch the microbes grow until they’re ready to swim off. There are 26 to discover, and 10 are inspired by real pond life.

  • Swishtail

    Microbus vulgaris

The everyday swimmer: an egg-shaped body and one strong tail.

  • Pipsqueak

    Minimus minimus

Tiny and quick, and the most common hatchling of all.

  • Bearly

    Ursus minimus

Four stubby legs and a little tail: a bear you can bearly see.

  • Pigtails

    Bicaudata gemella

    Two tails, twice the wiggle.

  • Sniffles

    Nasus gourmetus

Finds food with its big nose, and eats with it too.

  • Goofy

    Wobblia ridicula

Very wobbly. One feeler on top, three tails below.

  • Pinwheel

    Stella rotans

Five chubby arms, all curling one way, like a toy pinwheel.

  • Daisy

    Bellis natans

Five slender arms, each with a round petal at the end.

  • Dumpling

    Ursulus rotundus

A round little teddy bear, minus the tail.

  • Squidlet

    Teuthis curiosa

Feels its way with two long antennae, and three tails push.

  • Jellybell

    Inspired by a tiny jellyfish

Squeezes its bell to jet forward. Tap it for a big escape!

  • Slipper

    Inspired by Paramecium

Rowed by tiny hairs. Bumps into something? It backs up and turns.

  • Glimmer

    Inspired by Ceratium

Flashes when it eats, and the light ripples through its friends.

  • Roly-Poly

    Inspired by Volvox

A rolling ball of cells, with baby colonies growing inside.

  • Cousin Amoeba

    Inspired by Amoeba proteus

Crawls on “false feet”. A real amoeba, just like your pet!

  • Tagger

    Inspired by Didinium

Loves to play tag, and Slipper is its favourite to chase.
